2015 Australian Road Safety Conference

Will be held on the Gold Coast in October, and people are invited to make submissions beforehand

With a theme of “Taking Action Together”, the inaugural Australasian Road Safety Conference on the Gold Coast from October 14-16 will span the road safety issues identified in the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety: road safety management, infrastructure, safe vehicles, user behaviour and post-crash care.

ARSC2015 will feature a program of national and international keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, workshops and symposia. It's expected to attract over 400 delegates including researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and students working in the fields of behavioural science, education and training, emergency services, engineering and technology, health and rehabilitation, policing, justice and law enforcement, local, state and federal government, traffic management, vehicle safety – and more.

Motorcycling-wise, the conference is inviting abstract submissions ahead of the conference, and one of the streams is on vulnerable road users. Motorcyclists, pedestrians and cyclists are included in that. Keen to submit by the April 30, 2015 deadline? Then click here
for more information.
