2014 Yamaha YZ450F test day

Get to Mt Kembla (NSW) on September 6 to ride the latest incarnation of Yamaha's motocross weapon, which has a new aluminium bilateral beam frame

Motocross riders wanting to see what all the fuss is about should head to Mount Kembla (NSW) on Friday, September 6 because that's when the new 2014 YZ450F will be released to the public.

Riders are asked to pre-register for this event. Contact Yamaha Motor Australia at promotions@yamahamotor.com.au to book your test ride and include your name and contact number for confirmation.

The 2014 YZ450F has

a new aluminium
bilateral beam frame -- also shared by the YZ250F. The engine changes
include a revise piston, intake and exhausts valves and ports, a new
ECU, and the fuel injection mapping. The end result is improved
combustion and improved performance across the whole powerband. The
transmission has also been redesigned, and includes revised gear ratios.

The Mount Kembla complex is just north of Woolongong at Lot 2 Harry Graham Drive. Refreshments will be provided.
