Suzuki’s 2014 four-stroke motocross bikes have been unveiled, reading from the same mechanical and chassis scripts for the second year in succession.
The new features are limited to a revised ECM ignition program for “for improved starting performance”, while there are now two-tone radiator shrouds, new graphics and yellow number plates.
Both bikes have liquid-cooled battery-less fuel-injection systems, aluminium cylinders with Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material coating, five-speed transmissions, Showa separate function forks, Renthal aluminium fatbars, gripper seats, wave disc rotors and Excel aluminium rims.
The 2014 RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 are due to arrive in Suzuki showrooms in spring, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
