Suzuki has unveiled three new cruisers in America carrying the Blacked out Special Suzuki (B.O.S.S) moniker – the 2014 M109R and 2013 C90 and C50.
For those who like their cruisers to be animated as well as menacing, the M109R B.O.S.S could be the answer, as the blacked-out treatment is almost universal. Those bits to receive the dark trimmings include the mirrors, handlebar, levers, switches, fork, steering head stem, tank cover, air cleaner cylinder head covers, side covers mufflers and brake calipers. The look is completed by a yellow race stripe and pin stripe wheels.
Mechanically nothing has changed – which holds for all three models -- with the M109R still powered by a throbbing 1783cc V-twin with Suzuki’s dual throttle valve fuel injection system.
The 1462cc C90 B.O.S.S is similar to the C90T, but without the hard panniers and touring screen, while the 805cc C50 is the smallest capacity Suzuki cruiser to get the new black garments.
All three bikes will go on sale in America in July, 2013 but we’re awaiting details of likely availability in Australia.
