2014 Spyder RT launch nights
To celebrate the release of the extensively updated Spyder RT – highlighted by a new three-cylinder engine – a number of VIP evenings will be held in AprilBRP has announced that seven VIP evenings will be held in the first half of April to get the public up close to the extensively updated 2014 Spyder RT.
The Spyder RT is now powered by a completely new 1330cc Rotax ACE in-line triple to mated to a six-speed transmission and available in manual and semi-automatic configurations. Peak power is 115hp (85.8kW) at 7250rpm, with 130.1Nm of torque at 5000rpm.
The RT roadster was previously fed by a derivative of the Rotax 998cc V-twin originally found in the original Aprilia Tuono naked bike, boasting around 106hp and 108Nm.
