2014 MX Nationals calendar
The dates for next year's Australian Motocross Championship have been announced -- and there are also draft fixtures for 2015 and 2016!Williams Event Management (WEM) has unveiled the dates for the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals, along with draft details for the championship’s 2015 and 2016 calendars.
Next year’s titles will be held in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia over a total of 10 rounds, with MX1 and MX2 classes contested at all 10 rounds and the MXD Under 19 class to be contested at eight rounds. A Veterans class will be contested at two rounds.
WEM says it’s currently considering running some of the rounds on Saturday to help boost spectator numbers and that it will announce specific class breakdowns, support classes, race schedules and formats in coming weeks.
“We are working hard to have all this finalised by the end of October so people will have plenty of time to prepare for the new season,” said WEM’s Kevin Williams.
The dates for the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals will be as follows:
Round 1, March 30 – Broadford, Vic
Round 2, April 13 – Appin, NSW
Round 3, April 27 – Wonthaggi, Vic
Round 4, May 18 – Murray Bridge, SA
Round 5, May 25 – Wanneroo, WA
Round 6, June 29 – Conondale, Qld
Round 7, July 13 – Swan Hill, Vic
Round 8, August 3 – Raymond Terrace, NSW
Round 9, August 24 – Gladstone, Qld
Round 10, August 31 – Coolum, Qld
The draft fixtures for the 2015 MX Nationals will be as follows:

May 3, SA
May24, Qld
June 28, NSW
July 12, Vic
August 2, Qld
August 23, NSW
August 30, Qld
