The 2014 model Kawasaki KX250F and KX450F are now on sale in Australia, for $10,999 and $11,999 respectively.
The biggest change is the addition of electronic launch control on the KX250F, activated via a handlebar push-button setup.
The quarter-litre machine also has new front engine mounts; revised settings in the separate function fork (damping assembly in the left fork tube and a spring in the right) and Uni-Trak shock absorber; revised styling; and modifications to the gear selector and gearbox selector dogs.
The 2013 KX250F also led the charge on updates, when it received a straighter intake which helped to boost performance, as well as revised ignition timing, a new multi-map ECU, a narrower aluminium perimeter frame, redesigned fuel tank, and a new pushrod-type front brake master cylinder.
Meanwhile, the 2014 KX450F is basically unchanged, with minimal changes concentrating on styling and a revised pneumatic fork.
