2014 Kawasaki KLX150L

A new learner-approved motorcycle from Team Green, boasting an air-cooled single-cylinder engine and selling at an introductory price of $4899 rideaway

Kawasaki has a new entry-level motorcycle in its ranks – the KLX150L.

The machine, price at $4899 rideaway, has a 144cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine nestled in a steel box-section perimeter frame. The wheel sizes are big-bike like 21 and 18 inches, while the suspension comprises a 33mm telescopic fork and Uni-track shock. It has a seven-litre fuel tank.

"The new multi-purpose KLX150L is a great addition to our existing line-up of successful entry level motorcycles and we are confident that it will be seriously considered as a viable option for those looking for an affordable and versatile commuter,” said Kawasaki Australia's National Sales & Marketing Manager, Robert Walker. “The special introductory price of $4899 rideaway enables economical, affordable and fun motorcycling for both learners and accomplished riders alike."

The new machine is now the fifth KLX in Kawasaki's local line-up, alongside the KLX110, KLX140, the KLX250S and KLX450R.
