2014 Honda NC750SA

A 75cc hike in capacity headlines the updates for the mid-sized commuter, which now also has twin-balancer shafts and a new muffler. Price is $8799

The 2014 model NC750SA will go on sale in February, complete with a 75cc hike in capacity, twin balancer shafts, a new muffler, taller gearing and a host of detail upgrades. And a name change of course – from NC700SA to the NC750SA.

With a 745cc displacement, claimed power for the machine has risen from 51 to 54hp, while torque – already a strong feature of the low-revving, low-friction twin-cylinder, eight-valve powerplant – has climbed from 60 to 68Nm.

The NC750SA has a steel diamond frame, and the seat height is 790mm. Passengers are made comfortable with twin grab handles.

Two-channel anti-lock braking is fitted as standard equipment, while the machine now has a six-position span-adjustable brake lever.

The 2014 NC750SA will retail for $8799 in two colour schemes: Graphite Black and Matt Pearl Glare White.
