Ducati has announced the dates and fixtures for its 2014 Ducati Riding Experience, with the exclusive ride schools giving students access to some of Ducati’s latest models and to a cast of top-tier instructors.
Online enrolment for the Ducati Riding Experience is set to open on December 16, with the calendar kicking off at Italy’s Adria circuit, south of Venice, over April 28-29. A total of four courses will be staged at Adria, spanning both Racing 1, Intermediate and Basic programmes, while a further seven courses will be held at Tuscany’s Mugello GP track. Mugello will host Basic, Intermediate, Racing 2, Master Racing and Troy Bayliss Academy programmes.
There are courses available to suit all skill levels from absolute beginners to track day veterans, with tuition from some of the world’s best riders including Troy Bayliss, Paolo Casoli, Manuel Poggiali and Andrew Pitt, among others. The instructors are coordinated by Ducati Riding Experience Technical Director and Chief Instructor, Dario Marchetti, and Ducati factory test rider and Chief Instructor for the Master Racing courses, Alessandro Valia.
Basic course students will hone their skills on a Monster 796; Intermediate students will learn on a Monster 1200, Multistrada 1200 S, Hypermotard or Hyperstrada; Racing 1 and 2 students get an 899 Panigale; and Master Racing and Troy Bayliss Academy students will ride on an 1199 Panigale S.
In addition to the use of a bike, students will receive lunch and a welcome pack. Riding gear can be rented via the online enrolment process. Prices start from 350 euros for the Basic course to 2100 euros for the Troy Bayliss Academy.
