2014 Broadford Bike Bonanza
A new naming sponsor for the historic festival in Broadford, with the 2014 event to pay homage to the famed Castrol 6-Hour production raceThe 2014 instalment of the Broadford Bike Bonanza has a new naming rights sponsor in the form of Australian company Penrite Oil.
The event is now called the Penrite Oil Bonanza, and in 2014 will pay tribute to the famed Castrol 6-Hour production race and the BP Sunraysia Desert Rally.
“The Penrite Oil Bonanza is such a unique event on the historic motorcycling calendar,” said Motorcycle Chief Executive, David White. It’s a chance for bike enthusiasts to catch up with old friends and a showcase of some pretty interesting bikes that spend most of the year in people’s garages.”
The Penrite Oil Bonanza will be held over Easter weekend on April 19-20. Entry forms are available at www.ma.org.au.
About the Penrite Oil Bonanza
- The event is a non-competitive event (egos not included) using all the circuits within the complex.
- Track time is allocated to riders and machines according to factors such as speeds, abilities, and the period the bike falls into.
- There are a range of activities during the weekend, including a swap meet, specific marque displays and the annual gala dinner.
- The event is in its sixth year and growing in entries. In 2014, organisers are expecting around 4000 entries.
- Camping is available at the venue, or accommodation can be found in nearby Broadford.
