Victory Motorcycles has launched a 2013 model – that is not a typo – at the New York motorcycle show -- the Judge.
The Judge is described as a sport-influenced muscle bike "inspired by the muscle car era” and offering a “new level of cruiser excitement”.
It has 16-inch rubber, the rear only a svelte 140-section; drag bars; a 17-litre tank; five-spoke cast wheels; blacked-out componentry; mid-mount pegs, staggered slash-cut exhaust; new bodywork; a new headlight nacelle; side panels just begging for customisation; and a 31.7 degree rake -- less than Victory's other power cruiser, the Hammer.
The seat height is only 658mm, the wheelbase is 1647mm, and dry weight is 300kg.
Suspension is via conventional 43mm telescopic forks and a monoshock, with travel 130mm and 75mm respectively. The discs are whoppers – 300mm both ends.
The Judge, powered by the Freedom 106ci (1731cc) air-oil cooled 50-degree V-twin, will be launched in America in just a few weeks – and the Bikesales Network will be there to catch all the action.
