2013 KTM MX range launched

And it's the updated 450 SX-F which is stealing the limelight, a bike the company claims is the result of extensive collaboration with its star rider Ryan Dungey
KTM Australia has launched three of its 2013 motocross bikes – the 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F and 450 SX-F – at the Louee Enduro and Motocross Complex near Mudgee (NSW).
And the Bikesales Network was there, with the biggest intrigue the roll-out of the latest model 450 SX-F, which boasts a new SOHC, fuel-injected engine which now has a bore and stroke of 97mm x 60.8mm compared to 95mm x 63.4mm for the 2012 model.
The souped-up factory version of the bike is leading the 2012 American Motocross Championship by 85pts in the hands of Ryan Dungey with three rounds remaining. Dungey already has seven overall victories and 12 moto wins to his credit.
Both the 350 SX-F and 250 SX-F have also been updated, which Bikesales Network motocross go-to man Mat Boyd will touch on in his full launch review next week.
He’s already said that all three bikes are a “massive improvement over the 2012 models”. We await his full critique with interest.
