2013 Indian WSBK round cancelled

The 2013 Superbike World Championship will now revert t 14 rounds after the cancellation of the Indian round due to “operational challenges”

The proposed 2013 round of the Superbike World Championship at the Buddh International Circuit from November 15-17 has been cancelled “due to operational challenges faced by Jaypee Sports International Ltd (JPSI) and Dorna World SBK Organization (DWO)”.

In the interests of safety, the Indian round now doesn’t look like happening until 2015.

The final round of the 2013 world superbike season will now be at Jerez in Spain from October 18-20, at a circuit which is making a welcome return to the championship calendar.
