2013 Husqvarna TXC 310 R and TXC 250 R

The ‘cross-country' models have arrived, complete with a revised graphics package, black anodised rims and a motocross-based chassis

The first shipment of the Husqvarna TXC 310 R and TXC 250 R 110-year anniversary models have arrived in Australia, priced at $7995 and $7495 respectively.

The duo has been purpose-designed and built for the specific demands of cross-country racing. Unlike the competition enduro bikes, these machines are not homologated for road use. This means they are able to dispense with lighting and instrumentation, which translates into a weight saving of some 4kg compared to the competition enduro models.

They also feature a revised graphics package, black anodised rims, twin chamber 48mm Kayaba front forks, an 18-inch rear wheel, and an enduro-spec engine benefiting from electric start, Keihin electronic fuel injection and a six-speed gearbox.
