2013 Hondas: CBR600RR and Gold Wing FB6

The supersport jewel has a new-look mug and revised suspension, and the venerable Gold Wing's turned all hot rod
Honda’s continued to unveil its 2013 tackle, and among the latest batch is an update to the CBR600RR supersport machine and a new stablemate for the Gold Wing luxo tourer – the custom F6B.
The CBR600RR certainly isn’t akin to a “new” offering, but some of the changes have some real fibre: more aerodynamic bodywork with a new-look face, the addition of a 41mm Showa Big Piston Fork, refined rear suspension, new 12-spoke wheels, tweaks to the fuel injection mapping and a new ram-air intake. There’s a Repsol colour scheme, too.
We’re yet to get official word from Honda Australia on price and availability for the 2013 model CBR600RR, while we don’t even know yet if the Gold Wing F6B will be heading to Australia.
The FB6 is a new twist on the time-honoured Gold Wing legend, and we know it won’t command as much of your hard-earned.  As a ball park – and take this as a vague estimate -- in America it will retail for $19,999. The FB6 bagger has all the pared back custom lines and is “designed for serious riders”. Will that be enough to take some sales from Harley-Davidson, particularly in America?
