Bimota Australia has launched two new premium bikes – the supermotard-styled DB10 and DB10R, priced at $38,990 and $39,990 respectively (both rideaway).
The handcrafted models from Bimota’s Rimini factory in Italy are powered by Ducati’s 1078cc EVO L-twin four-valve engine, which produces 98hp and 105Nm and sits in a composite trellis-style frame with long-travel suspension – including 159mm at the front. The wheelbase is 1465mm.
The tri-coloured DB10 is clothed in carbon fibre bodywork and has 50mm DLC-coated Marzocchi forks, Extreme Tech fully shock, light weight tubular chrome-molybdenum steel frame with hand -rafted billet alloy frame and
swingarm plates. It has dual Arrow exhausts.
For the rider looking for something even more special, he DB10R comes equipped with TiN-coated 50mm Marzocchi forks and light weight forged aluminium wheels. It has a clear-coated carbon finish with black anodised frame and swingarm plates.
Dry weight is 168kg, seat height is 820mm, and fuel capacity is 14 litres.
