2013 Australian speedway calendars
Summer in Australia means national speedway titles across the solo and speedway classes, and we've got some datesMotorcycling Australia has released details of a number of Australian Speedway Championships, spanning both solo and sidecar classes.
The 2013 Australian Speedway Solo Championship will be held over three rounds at Gillman Speedway (January 5), Undera Speedway (January 9) and Kurri Kurri Speedway (January 12), while the 2013 Australian Speedway Solo Teams Championship will be held at Kurri Kurri Speedway on January 13. Supplementary regulations and entry forms for both are now available for download from www.ma.org.au/suppregs, and entry forms should be returned to MA by December 7.
The 2013 Australian U16 Individual and Teams Speedway Solo Championship will be run at the Olympic Park Speedway Complex in Mildura, Vic, over December 28-30, while the 2013 Australian U16 Speedway Sidecar Championship will be held at the same venue on December 29. Supplementary regulations and entry form are available for download from www.ma.org.au/suppregs, and entry forms should be returned to MA by November 28.
Lastly, the 2012-2013 IKON Suspension Speedway Sidecar ‘Grand Slam’ Series will be run over six rounds at Riverland Speedway (December 1), Murray Bridge Speedway (January 1), Borderline Speedway (January 12), Gillman Speedway (January 27), Loxford Park Speedway (February 23) and Gillman Speedway (March 16). The supplementary regulations and entry form are available for download from www.ma.org.au/suppregs, and entry forms should be returned to Full Throttle Sports (15 Hammersmith Avenue, Edwardstown SA 5039) by November 23.
