2013 Australian Motocross calendar
Ten rounds for the two major classes, MX1 and MX2, a number of tracks returning to the scene, and Swan Hill joining the fray for the first timeThe calendar has been released for the 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals – aka the Australian Motocross Championship. It is as follows:
- Rd1: April 14, Raymond Terrace, NSW (MX1, MX2, MXD)
- Rd2: April 28, Murray Bridge, SA (MX1, MX2, MXQ)
- Rd3: May 5, Wonthaggi, Vic (MX1, MX2, MXD, 2SC)
- Rd4: May 19, Broadford, Vic (MX1, MX2, MXD, Amateur Cup)
- Rd5: June 2, Conondale, Qld (MX1, MX2, Vets 30-39, Vets 40-plus)
- Rd6: July 14, Appin, NSW (MX1, MX2, MXD, TBC)
- Rd7: July 28, Hervey Bay, Qld (MX1, MX2, MXD, MXR)
- Rd8: August 11, Swan Hill, Vic (MX1, MX2, MXD, Amateur Cup)
- Rd9: August 25, Toowoomba, Qld (MX1, MX2, MXD, 2SC)
- Rd10: September 1, Coolum, Qld (MX1, MX2, MXD, 2SC, MXQ, TBC, Vets 30-39, Vets 40-plus)
Class descriptions:
MX1 (Pro Open); MX2 (Pro Lites); MXD (Under 19s); MXQ (Pro Quads); 2SC (Two-Stroke Cup); Amateur Cup (B and C-grade all-powers); MXR (13to 15 years rookies); TBC (class to be confirmed)
Raymond Terrace, Broadford and Toowoomba return to the national championship, while the new venue is Swan Hill on the Victorian/NSW border.
