2012 world Superbike calendar - UPDATED

Australia again opens the batting, while Russia's first round of the production-based championship will create plenty of buzz

Australia’s Phillip Island will again be the first port of call in the Superbike World Championship next year, kicking off proceedings from February 24-26. The 2012 championship will be held over 14 rounds.

Russia will make its debut on the calendar from August 24-26.

The calendar is as follows:

  • 26 February, Australia, Phillip Island
  • 1 April, Imola, Italy
  • 22 April, Netherlands, Assen 
  • 6 May, Italy, Monza
  • 13 May, Europe, Donington
  • 28 May, USA, Miller Motorsport Park
  • 10 June, San Marino, Misano Adriatico
  • 1 July, Spain, Motorland Aragon
  • 22 July, Czech Republic, Brno
  • 5 August, United Kingdom, Silverstone
  • 26 August, Russia, Moscow International Raceway
  • 9 September, Germany, Nurburgring
  • 23 September, Portugal, Portimao
  • 7 October, France, Magny-Cours
