The 2012 Force Accessories Wildwood Rock extreme three-hour enduro will be held on November 11 on a property just 10 minutes’ drive from Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne.
Riders will battle it out for three gut-busting hours on a 13km loop that isn’t for the faint-hearted: obstacles include bricks, balancing beams, logs, tyres, rocks, house frames, bog holes and ute tubs. And, yes, the attrition rate is expected to be high in what isn’t your average stroll in the park
Entries are still coming in, but there appears to be five standouts in the pro class: inaugural winner Mitch Harper, Matthew Phillips, Trevor Campbell, Josh Green and Dylan Rees. Campbell and Phillips were second and third behind international extreme enduro star Graham Jarvis in 2011. This year’s international rider will be Husaberg factory pilot Alfredo Gomez Cantero.
Gates open at 8.00am, with the prologue commencing at 9.00am before the main event at 11:30am. Entry is $20 for adults and children under 16 will be admitted free. The property is located at 227 Feehans Road, Wildwood.
