The 2012 Tokyo Motorcycle Show begins today at a massive exhibition centre on the city’s expansive harbour, which is also the home to the equivalent – and also bike flavoured -- motor show.
The Bikesales Network is in Tokyo, and will bring you all the news and information from the motorcycle show, including the latest models, concepts, trends and developments.
And you can read about it all here first – on our websites and across Twitter and Facebook.
The show, one of the blue-chip motorcycle exhibitions alongside Milan and Cologne, runs for three days at ‘Tokyo Big Sight’, finishing on Sunday.
For those people from downunder who may be in Toyko and are keen to partake in the festivities themselves, the show site is easily accessible on the ‘Yurikamome’ private railway. From there, it’s only a 200-metre walk.
The 2011 Tokyo Motorcycle Show was cancelled after rolling blackouts, transport turmoil and the devastation wrought on the country by the earthquake and tsunami, which left organisers with only one real option.
