MV Agusta has unveiled the second model stemming from the triple-cylinder 675 F3 platform with the Brutale 675 nakedbike set to join the 2012 line-up.
The new machine gains full ride-by-wire throttle control, four switchable engine maps and an eight-way traction control system, making it an impressive line-up of electronics for the middleweight nakedbike segment.
The inline-three cylinder motor has a claimed power output of 85kW (115hp) and capable of 71Nm of torque, all set within a lightweight 163kg (dry) package.
The frame retains the traditional steel-trellis look with the upper section, while the firm uses aluminium side plates mount it to the engine. Hefty 43mm upside-down forks matched to a Sachs rear shock unit suspend the 163kg (dry) machine, while the brakes are radial-mounted Brembo calipers actuated by Nissin master cylinders gripping the same 320mm discs found on the brand’s fully-faired F3 Supersport machine.
The new nakedbike will be available in three colours for the new model year, red and silver, white and gold, as well as matt grey and anthracite.
