There’s a new Husaberg enduro bike for the 2012 model year – the TE125.
The small-bore machine is part of Husaberg’s self-proclaimed “back to its roots” campaign, and has the same top-self componentry as its 250cc and 300cc siblings, including machined triple clamps, closed cartridge WP upside-down forks, and translucent 11-litre fuel tank. About the only feature it doesn’t share is electric start.
Husaberg Australia has ADR complied the TE125, and it’s now receiving feedback from dealers and customers before it makes a final decision on importation. Small capacity enduro bikes such as the TE125 have more recently been a staple of Europe.
The TE range also has new engine and frame protectors for 2012, as well as handguards.
Meanwhile, the four-stroke range, dominated by the 70-degree engine for mass centralisation, pretty much continues the 2011 theme, save for a updated graphics, the addition of MX-style handguards, a lighter upper triple clamp and a yellow frame.
There are three four-stroke FE-designated enduro bikes -- the 390, 450 and 570 torque master.
The 2012 range – which potentially could include the TE125 – will be available in the second half of 2011, with pricing still to be announced.
