2012 Festival of Italian motorcycles
After a two-year absence, the festival returns to its spiritual home in Carlton's famous Lygon Street precinctThe 2012 Festival of Italian motorcycles will be held at Argyle Square’s Piazza Italia on November 18, 2012, from 10.00am to 2.00pm. The Festival welcomes all Italian motorcycles and scooters.
Visitors to the FOIM can expect to see marques such as Ducati, Aprilia, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Laverda, Moto Parilla, Motobi, Moto Morini and many more. Expect also to see a great turn out of the iconic Lambretta scooter, this year celebrating its 65th anniversary.
“Since 1947 Lambretta has had the reputation of being the world’s finest scooter," said Lambretta Club President Stephen Bardsley, “and we’re proud to be part of that tradition.”
Entry to the festival is free.
