
Australia’s Phillip Island has been pencilled in to host the penultimate round of the 2012 MotoGP world title from October 26-28, with GP commercial rights holder Dorna backing away from previous threats to move the round to earlier in the year.
The 2012 championship will again be held over 18 rounds in the same countries as 2011 – and circuits too if Sachsenring gets the German slot, which is still to be confirmed:
