From February 17-19 the central Broadbeach venue will be packed to capacity with the latest leisure and commuting craft for the land and water from over 100 manufacturers and industry exhibitors.
The expo, which also hosts the Australian Personal Watercraft Show and the Australian Scooter Festival, will feature all the latest products and services from Australia's leading motorcycle distributors and accessory emporiums, freestyle motocross and PWC displays, streetbike stunts, a stage for special guests and presentations, and plenty more to keep all the family entertained.
There are also accessory businesses galore, insurance companies, and options aplenty for motorcycle apparel. You can even lock in you next two-wheel adventure - and finish the day with a Chinese massage.
“The Australian Motorcycle Expo is focused on the new and unique,” said Event Manager Mark Petersen. "Along with the hundreds of new motorcycle models on the floor we are lucky to have some special concept machines demonstrating the possibility of technology advancements within the industry.
“At the last expo it was great to see people from all over the country making their way to the Gold Coast for a great weekend of motorcycle, scooter and PWC entertainment,” said Petersen. “As well as providing enthusiasts the chance to check out the newest and most exciting products, it also gives the local area a boost with thousands visiting the region each day."
Brands expected to be represented at the expo include BMW Motorrad, BRP, Ducati, Gilera, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husaberg, Hyosung, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, SeaDoo, Suzuki, TGB, Triumph, Vespa, Victory Motorcycles and Yamaha Motor and Marine.
The Bikesales Network will have a stand at the show, so wander over to search for your next bike -- new or used -- and get the latest in motorcycle news from Australia and around the world.
Apparel, safety gear, aftermarket parts, memorabilia and media are just a few of the other industry exhibits that will be on display, with event-exclusive specials promised.
Australia’s best action sports teams will put on a host of daily demonstrations, which the crowd can watch from the surrounding parklands or on a level vantage point from the venue’s open balcony.
In addition, the Monster Energy Showtime FMX team will put on an explosive show of high-flying antics; moto trials rider Jack Field will negotiate a series of obstacles and even performing a back flip from a kicker just 30cm high; and the ever-popular Brown’s Grafix Mini Moto team will bring a light-hearted feel to the festivities with their entertaining display of tricks on 50cc motorcycles.
But the action is not just on land. Australia’s best flat-water freestyle jet ski riders will perform the latest in extreme water entertainment, throwing back flips, barrel rolls and 360s just metres from the water's edge.
Three-time world Superbike champion Troy Bayliss will be on hand to meet with fans, along with a number of other special guests to be announced in the lead up to the event.
