The Aprilia V4 range has been given a fresh new look with the release of two new colour schemes for 2012. According to the Italian motorcycle company the V4 range "simultaneously represents both the new and future of high performance motorcycles in the supersport segment" and is now offered in bright yellow and a black-on-red paint to stand out even more.
The yellow paint scheme, or 'Sunlit Yellow' to use its official label, takes a few cues from the Tuono and is not for shy riders as it screams 'exotic'. It is offered on the RSV4 R and will be available from April. It joins regular colours such as Nero Aprilia Black and Bianco Glamour White.
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory can now be ordered with 2012 World Superbike racing team livery, and as usual comes with upgraded chassis components such as Ohlins suspension and carbon fibre trim. It gets new light weight gold wheel rims as well.
Both the RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R are powered by Aprilia's 999cc V4 engine and are fitted with the latest rider assistance tech "derived from years of Aprilia racing experience" in the form of the APRC, or Aprilia Performance Ride Control. This adjustable electronics suite adds things like stability control and wheel control, and is designed to improve lap times and cornering efficiency.
