2012 AORC rounds cancelled

Rounds nine and 10 of the Australian Off Road Championship, scheduled for a Queensland staging, have been taken off the calendar

Rounds nine and 10 of the 2012 Yamaha Australian Off Road Championship (AORC), scheduled to be held in Conondale (Qld) on July 28-29, have been cancelled.

The rounds were originally postponed, due to unseasonably wet weather. Despite all efforts to move the event to an alternative weekend, organisers have been unable to secure a new date due to clashes with state-based calendars.

The 2012 AORC will now be run as 10-round affair, with the final weekend of competition to be held in Kapunda (SA) on August 25-26.

All entries received to date for the cancelled Conondale rounds will be moved to the Kapunda rounds, unless notified otherwise. To request a refund, email AORC coordinator Denise Hore at denise.hore@bigpond.com.

The Queensland two-day event, which was to be held in conjunction with the Conondale rounds of the AORC, will go ahead on September 8-9.
