The motorcycle show season is about to commence, with Perth to kick off proceedings this weekend followed by Sydney three weeks later.
Perth’s show will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 4-6, with more display space and also the launch of MotoLive, which will bring together some of the best stunt riders in the business, including Matt Mingay.
In addition, there will be moto trials and freestyle motocross exhibitions, vintage and custom bike displays, and an interactive "Come Try Riding" circuit, designed for those who want a piece of the action.
Suzuki has announced it will have over 30 models on its stand, including the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS making its first official Australian appearance.
Appearing alongside the V-Strom 650 will be the recently introduced GSR750 street fighter and updated 2012 models of the Boulevard M109RZ, the Hayabusa and the RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 motocrossers.
The show will open at 10:00am all three days, and close at 9:00pm, 6:00pm and 5:00pm respectively on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For more information visit www.perthbikeshow.com.au.
Meanwhile, the 2011 Sydney Motorcycle Show will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from November 25-27. Historically the event has been held in Sydney's Olympic Park precinct, at Homebush in the city's mid-western suburbs.
In addition to indoor exhibits, the show will also make use of the venue’s surrounding areas for live action demonstrations and motorcycle test rides.
