Not due to be released until later this week, what we have here is purported to be a leaked version of the 2011 MotoGP calendar.
How has this leak happened? Two words: Travel agents.
Apparently corporate travel agents get their hands on the calendars before everyone else, which seems reasonable as they are the ones who will be booking flights, hotels and possibly other services for the thousands of organisers, officials, riders, partners, hanger-ons and media types who make up the MotoGP circus.
There's no real surprises on the 2011 calendar, with the Qatar round at Losail being the first race of the season on March 20 and Spanish round at Valencia the last race in early November. It's a long season, but with all the rider and team changes 2011 is shaping up to be a must-see year of motorcycle racing.
How will Casey Stoner fare at HRC, will Valentino Rossi dominate on Ducati, and will Ben Spies be a force to be reckoned with at Yamaha alongside Jorge Lorenzo? Good, probably and yes? Let the speculation begin...
The Australian round of the MotoGP will take place on October 16 in 2011 at Phillip Island, and other than the Portuguese round in Estoril moving up the list to May 15, from second last race of the season this year, there's no major changes.
See below for the leaked provisional 2011 MotoGP calendar.
