2011 model Husqvarna CR150

The company's diminutive two-stroke machine has been given a refresh as it sets out to fight a rearguard action against its four-stroke motocross counterparts

The 2011 model Husqvarna CR150 motocross bike is now on sale in Australia for $8995, complete with a host of updates.

The 144cc two-stroke now has a new chassis, with the cradle given the most attention, while the bike now has more ground clearance.

The engine mountings are also different, reinforced and with new cylinder head fittings. The air filter housing is also a fresh design, and is now claimed to be more water resistant.

The polished hubs and the wave type disc brakes are also new additions to the scene, while the muffler and clutch housing are the same as that on the TC/TE250 four-stroke models -- but more robust and efficient.

The livery has been redesigned to follow the new design for all Husqvarna two and four-stroke models, with in-mould graphics.
