2011 Hobart Motorcycle Expo

It's on this Father's Day weekend, with plenty to see, including the jet-powered Y2K, an oval-pistoned NR750, and historic and current race bikes
The 2011 Hobart Motorcycle & Recreation Expo will be held this weekend (September 3-4) at the Hobart City Hall.
Even though this show’s on a smaller scale compared to the epic productions in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, it’s still set to pack a decent punch with bikes like the jet-powered Y2K bike, Honda’s cult oval-pistoned NR750 (pictured) and Moto Guzzi’s new long-range Stelvio NTX 8V set to be the centre of attention.
Other exhibits will focus on current and former race bikes, as well as custom choppers, café racers, scooters, apparel, toys and hobbies. There will also be live entertainment.
Opening hours are 10:00am-10:00pm on Saturday, and 10:00am-4:00pm on Sunday. For more information, email tasmotorexpos@hotmail.com or tel 0419 502 603.
