BMW Motorrad Australia has again thrown its support behind the GS Snowy Adventure Tour, which takes riders to the starting point for the annual Snowy Ride at Thredbo (NSW).
The Snowy Ride, now in its 11th year, is Australia's largest motorcycle charity ride, attracting motorcycle enthusiasts from around the Australia, while generating much needed funds for Steven Walter Fund.
The GS Snowy Adventure Tour is an opportunity for BMW GS riders to get from Melbourne to Thredbo so they can go on to complete the Snowy Ride on November 5. The two day Adventure Tour event commences in Melbourne on Thursday, November 3, overnights at Licola in the Victorian High Country, and arrives in Thredbo on Friday afternoon. Riders will be ready for the Snowy Ride on Saturday, before making their own way home on Sunday.
In 2011, a totally new route is planned for the dual-purpose GS machinery, taking in some incredible scenery and great terrain. The tour will include full support with lead and sweep riders, as well as support vehicles. Spaces are limited, so participants are encouraged to book places without delay.
