2011 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix

The 2011 Iveco Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will be held at Phillip Island from October 14-16, with Australian Casey Stoner aiming for five wins in a row at the magnificent seaside circuit.
There’s no doubt Casey’s quest to equal Valentino Rossi’s winning benchmark between 2001 and 2005 will take centre stage on Sunday afternoon, but like all grands prix on the world championship calendar there will also be plenty to see and do around the confines of the Phillip Island circuit.
We’ll get to more of that in the next update, as we’ll commence proceedings with the current priorities: ticketing/hospitality, transport and accommodation options.

Ticketing

  • GP Hub tickets are an add-on for general admission and grandstand ticket holders. The Hubs will be located at turn one and on Bass Straight. For more information, click here.

Accommodation

  • For camping at the circuit, click here.

Transport and parking

  • Dedicated coach transport is available from a number of locations around Melbourne, as well as Geelong and Ballarat
  • There are also alternative coach services with existing carriers
  • General public parking is available at he Phillip Island circuit, and standard charges are $10 a day for a car ($5.00 motorcycle) or $30 for three days
  • A shuttle bus service will operate from the circuit to various stops around Phillip Island and San Remo during the event
  • Ferry services will operate from Stony Point to Cowes, connecting with a shuttle bus to and from the circuit. Parking is available at Stony Point.
