2011 Aussie motorcycle racing calendar

Next year's calendar has been finalised, starting with the Aussie solo speedway championship in January

Love your motorcycle racing? Then you’ll be pleased to hear that Motorcycling Australia has released its national competition calendar for 2011, kicking off with the Australian Solo Speedway Championship opener on January 12.

The calendar includes all the disciplines – speedway, road racing, moto trials, enduro, desert racing, dirt track and long track.

Some events are yet to be finalised, including the Australian Superbike and Supercross Championships. Both are expected to unveil their calendars in the next few weeks.

Three world championship rounds will be held in Australia next year: world Superbike (February 25-27) and MotoGP (October 14-16) at Phillip Island (Vic); and speedway sidecar 1000cc (November 12) in Murray Bridge (SA).
