Here are a couple of Yamaha scooters which have gained their inspiration from the company's flagship model - the 500c TMAX, one of which the Bikesales Network currently has in its possession.
The liquid-cooled 125 and 250cc X-MAX parallel twin scooters have been sold in Europe since 2005, and for the 2010 model year they have been given a makeover with several new features: updated styling, a new frame with adjustable rear suspension, increased storage capacity under the seat and in the lockable dashboard compartments, new footboard positions, and a more sophisticated red backlit analogue dashboard.
The bikes also have new one-piece cowlings - part of the reason for the new dashboards -track on 15-inch (front) and 14-inch wheels, and have massive disc brakes at both ends.
But alas, they are not available in Australia - but still try out the TMAX for size.
