2010 Hungarian MotoGP cancelled

To be replaced by GP of Aragon

The Grand Prix of Hungary, scheduled for September 19, has been cancelled because construction work on the new circuit cannot be finished on time.

It will now be replaced by the Grand Prix of Aragon at the reserve circuit of Motorland Aragon on the same date.

For those a bit flummoxed, Aragon is an autonomous community of Spain.

The full 18-round calendar is as follows:

April 11 * -- Doha/Losail, Qatar
April 25 - Motegi, Japan
May 2 -- Jerez, Spain
May 23 - Le Mans, France
June 6 - Mugello, Italy
June 20 - Silverstone, Great Britain
June 26 ** -- Assen, Netherlands
July 4 - Catalunya, Catalunya
July 18 - Sachsenring, Germany
July 25 *** -- Laguna Seca, United States
August 15 - Br4no, Czech Republic
August 29 - Indianapolis, Indianapolis
September 5 - Misano, San Marino
September 19 - Motorland Aragon, Aragon
October 10 - Sepang, Malaysia
October 17 - Phillip Island, Australia
October 31 - Estoril, Portugal
November 7, Valencia, Spain
