
Yamaha has finally launched its latest muscle,-bike, the much anticipated 2009 Vmax - the first major update for the machine since its launch over 20 years ago.
The 1679cc V-four powerplant is claiming an eye-watering 197 horses and 17kg-m of torque.
That's pushing a wet weight of 310kg with a full tank of fuel.
The aluminium frame is pulled up by six-piston brakes up front which are fitted with ABS on the Euro versions.
Price and local import dates have yet to be announced.
