
The 2009 Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix (aka MotoGP) gets underway at Losail in Qatar on April 12, and click here to see who will be lining up in the three classes: 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP.
With Anthony West gone, Australia's representation in MotoGP is now a two-pronged affair with Casey Stoner (Ducati) and Chis Vermeulen (Suzuki), who have both enjoyed fruitful pre-seasons.
The only real change to the MotoGP roster in recent times is the addition of Marco Melandri, who will campaign a Kawasaki for the Hayate Racing Team - the Japanese manufacturer's concession to remain in MotoGP after earlier announcing a complete withdrawal.
The Australian MotoGP round will be held at Phillip Island from October 16-18.
