2009 Aussie motocross teams taking shape

Merry-go-round nearly complete

When the 2009 Australian Motocross Championship kicks off in Wodonga (Vic) on April 5 - the first of eight rounds - the grids in Pro Open and Pro Lites will be practically unrecognisable from the ones that completed season 2008.


A couple of factory teams have remained unchanged or kept the majority of their personnel, namely Yamaha and Suzuki, while Honda, KTM and Kawasaki will be new-look affairs, a function of voluntary (Daniel McCoy for one has left Honda to ride in America) and involuntarily departures.


The 2009 rosters are shaping up as follows:


HONDA
Pro Open - Ford Dale
Pro Open - Todd Waters
Pro Open - Peter Boyle (when there are no conflicting enduro committments)
Pro Lites - Dean Ferris
Women's - Rebecca Lipsett

SUZUKI
Pro Open - Cameron Taylor (motocross only at this at stage)
Pro Lites - Matt Moss


YAMAHA
