$1990 for 2020 Braap ST250

Pre-order price for Shadow cafe racer is $2500 off regular cost

Braap is kick-starting its 2020 model range with a special "flash sale" pre-order price of $1990 for its ST 250 Shadow café racer , plus delivery, GST and registration.

To put that in perspective, the bikes sitting on showroom floors now are $4500.

The on-road cost for the 2020 machines will vary by state -- Victorians will pay $380 to have their motorcycle registered and ready to ride with three months rego.

The bikes also come with the paperwork required to have them registered in any state.
Delivery costs are estimated at $420 for Sydney and Adelaide buyers; Victorian owners can collect their machines from 35 Playne St, Frankston.

The sale is on now for bikes due to arrive in December 2019. Assembly and delivery will then push the date out into new year.

The ST 250 uses a single-cylinder 250cc engine and a five-speed transmission to power a classically styled cafe racer.

Suspension runs to 48mm telescopic front forks and a pair of rear shocks.
