1200 Priller?

Aprilia is said to be working on a 1200 version of the new in-house V-twin series it has been developing, which have so far included a 450 and 750.

The idea is to match or surpass what is being offered by Ducati, while coming up with a major upgrade from the current line-up of one-litre twins. Timing is not confirmed, but we're hearing October this year for the first showing of prototypes.

Meanwhile the company is also reported to have continued development on its V-four superbike engine (pictured), though it insists it has no plans to make a road version - instead sticking to V-twins.
