Motorcycling Australia: With less than three weeks until the 2008 Hog's Breath Australian Four Day Enduro, event organisers have finalised the track and are praying for some more pre-event rain.
Event Director, Lydon Heffernan, said that while recent showers were brilliant they were holding out for more rain in the next two weeks.
"They've had a little bit of rain in recent days, which was needed, because it's been a traditionally long, hot, dry summer, so we're praying for a bit more," Heffernan said.
But getting perfect conditions isn't as easy as praying for a downpour.
"A little bit of rain is awesome, a lot of rain prior to the event is even better but heavy rain right up to the event and through the event makes it really tough for everybody," he said.
"Ideally we're hoping for three or four days of rain in the lead-up to the event and then we're hoping it stops on the morning of, that's the best case scenario."
With riders finalising their preparations for the event there are still places for 10 lucky Enduro riders to take part in this iconic Australian event.
