The Yamaha YZ125SP 70th Anniversary Edition is a lightweight, race-ready motocross bike built to celebrate 70 years of Yamaha motorsport heritage. Featuring a distinctive white-and-red "Speed Block" anniversary livery inspired by Yamaha’s classic factory race bikes, the YZ125SP combines retro styling with modern off-road performance. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 125cc two-stroke, reed-valve engine equipped with Yamaha’s YPVS (Yamaha Power Valve System), delivering strong mid-to-high RPM acceleration and responsive throttle control through a Keihin PWK38S carburettor and CDI ignition system. The bike uses a close-ratio six-speed transmission and a lightweight aluminium semi-double cradle frame for agile handling and reduced rider fatigue. Suspension duties are handled by premium KYB components with 300mm front and 315mm rear travel, while hydraulic disc brakes with a 270mm front rotor provide strong stopping power. With a wet weight of only around 96kg, a 980mm seat height, and competition-focused ergonomics including adjustable handlebars and gripper seat materials, the YZ125SP is designed to deliver exceptional control and race performance straight from the showroom floor.
