This genuinely upsets me that I have to sell this bike. Of the 100's I've owned, ridden, raced, maintained and restored, this is about my favourite! It is pretty much everything I wanted in a lightweight ADV bike, but unfortunately due to health reasons, I have to change to a larger bike that is more comfortable and better 2up. That is the only reason I'm selling it. The taller rally seat is more comfortable and the Hagon rear shock make a big improvement, but unfortunately I still find it too hard to ride and I'm now forced to buy an "old man's bike". We all get old eventually.
The bike is wrapped in a completely custom high quality wrap designed as a tribute to the 1980's Honda Rothman's Dakar bikes (NXR750's etc) with #95 being the number they first won the Dakar with in 1986. Looks fantastic and unique, gets a lot of comments and attention. It's not perfect, but great from 20 feet. Bike does show wear as expected from nearly 20k, but only minor. If you want a perfect bike, buy a new one. If you want something different, well setup with useful extras to see you out another 20k, then this is the one for you!
I changed to a 15t front/50t rear sprocket and chain ~4000kms ago. This maintains stock gearing which is great for the bike and increases chain/sprocket life.
