Easy and light on the road, agile and aggressive off-road, with the new Caballero Scrambler, your fun knows no limits. The ride is beautifully tuned, the engine likes to be gunned and the sound from the stainless steel scrambler pipes spit out a whole lot of character. This Deluxe version brings a number of practical updates along with some nice cosmetic tweaks. It forgoes the classic Fantic racing red, in favour of a more toned-down urban chic.
In a world of 200bhp superbikes, 39bhp might not seem like much go, but combined with short gearing and tight ratios, it delivers a spritely ride. It’s also only moving 170kg wet, so it’s hardly a heavyweight. The Deluxe also benefits from an updated engine map, sharpening the oomph it has. The beautiful handling is in part to its' long 150mm suspension (this has also been improved from the Scrambler version)
In addition to the mechanical changes, the Deluxe brings in a new, classier finish with deep grey tank and mudguards, a set of scrambler style 'bars with crossbrace, side numberplates with 'Deluxe' graphics and matt black radiator covers. Colour-matching the saddle, 'bar pad and grips in the same brown is a further cements the new model’s on-trend style. The Deluxe version also has a new seat shape which makes it more comfortable to ride.
Learner legal, this motorcycle is perfect for those new to the motorcycling scene. The motor responds instantly to a heavily sprung throttle. A sticky gearbox and taught drive train drives the bike forward with a solid but swift momentum. The throaty twin Arrow pipes are a perfect balance between obnoxious and muffled. They are cleverly designed to wrap neatly in a rectangle around the front of the engine and are integrated with a catalyser. Longer pipes = more torque! Plus it mirrors the big radiator above it, which balances out nicely.
