Total Production: Globally, early indicators pointed to fewer than 1,000 examples of the 30th Anniversary Fireblade SP being built, with each unit featuring individually numbered identification on the top fork yoke. Release Information: The models began arriving in Australia in the second quarter of 30th Anniversary model is distinguished by a "tricolour" paint scheme reminiscent of the 1992 original, designed by Hiroaki Tsukui, and includes features like an engraved Akrapovic silencer, special key fob, and a unique start-up animation.

The Blade updates are centred on improvements in mid-corner acceleration and drive. The intake ports, airbox, airbox funnels and exhaust mid-section have all been revised to deliver extra mid-range. The final drive sprocket goes up 3 teeth, to 43, for stronger acceleration through each ratio and quick shifter performance has been upgraded.
