Without a doubt this is the best touring version of BMW RTs I have ever owned (nine in total) having progressed through all the iterations from the R100RT in the 90s. Whether you want to strip it down naked without luggage and go for a run through the twisties or load it up for that round Australia trip, this bike can do it all.
Look up the specs but the combination of ABS, traction control, variable speed cam, quick shift, cruise control and onboard wonder wheel to keep you up to speed with the bike status is incredible. Maintained by a local BMW Motorrad dealer under the service package with the next 70000k service included. Michelin Road 6 GT tyres fitted.
The bike is currently set up with the following features to suit my riding style:

The Mars Red metallic paint with the Matt Dark Slate is a brilliant and striking combination.
I am heading in a new direction with my riding so the RT is not part of my plans. If your looking new then this is truly a good alternative for the touring rider.
