Ducati Scrambler 1100 — Just 3,401 km — Showroom Condition (NSW)
The Bike
This is a genuine low-kilometre Ducati Scrambler 1100, 2018 build, presented in as-new condition and ready for its next custodian. With just 3,401 km on the odometer, it has barely been ridden in and still wears its factory finish without a single mark — the kind of example that simply doesn't come up often, particularly with the cosmetics this clean.
The Scrambler 1100 sits at the top of the Scrambler family and is widely regarded as the most charismatic of the line — a proper 1,079 cc air- and oil-cooled L-twin Desmodue in the unmistakable Scrambler silhouette. It makes a healthy 86 hp and 88 Nm of torque, delivered with that distinctive Ducati character: lazy off the bottom, urgent through the midrange, and accompanied by a bassy thump from the twin upswept exhausts that no inline-four can replicate.
Why This One
What separates this bike from the rest of the market isn't just the odometer — it's the condition. Most Scrambler 1100s currently listed are sitting on 15,000–25,000 km with the cosmetic story that goes with it: stone-chipped tanks, scuffed exhausts, oxidised fork lowers, faded swingarms. This one looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
Paintwork — unblemished, glossy, no chips or scratches
Brushed-aluminium tank side panels — unmarked, no polish swirl, no fingerprint wear
Twin upswept exhausts — factory finish intact, no heat tint or scuffs to the heat shields
Spoked wheels — rims true, spokes bright, no kerb rash
Tyres — original-fitment Pirelli MT60 rubber with sharp tread blocks still visible
Engine cases & swingarm — spotless, no oil sweat, no corrosion
Diamond-quilted seat — zero wear, stitching tight, no sun fade
Brembo monobloc calipers & discs — clean, no scoring, near-full pad life
Always garaged. Never dropped. Never ridden hard. Never modified. Fastidiously maintained.

What You're Buying Into
The Scrambler 1100 occupies a very specific niche — it's the bike for riders who want presence, character and proper power without the riding position or temperament of a sportbike. It's equally at home on a Sunday loop through the Royal, a coffee run to Manly, a weekend up the Old Pac, or a longer trip out to the Blue Mountains. The torquey twin pulls cleanly from low revs, the upright stance is genuinely comfortable for hours, and the bar-end mirrors give a properly clear view behind. It turns heads at any cafe in Sydney and backs the looks up with real performance.
It is also, increasingly, a collector-grade Scrambler. Ducati has moved the current Scrambler line to the smaller-engine platform only — meaning the 1100 is effectively the last of its breed, with the proper big-bore air-cooled Desmodue and the trademark twin pipes. Low-km, original-condition examples will only become harder to find.
